I met my late husband online and had an amazing life for 5 years until life dealt him a cruel hand...I just think people need to have a good dose of common sense and an open mind..Good Luck for all those seeking:-)

My sister met her partner online and has been happily living together for 6 years now. You couldn't meet a nicer guy. Everyone (even those who you meet face to face) has history so you are just as likely to be conned by someone either online or off. I do think that it is easier to talk to people via text though which in some cases can be to your advantage and others, not.

Its rare I guess as you say, but possible. I am still in love with the person I met online. And I don't use that word lightly. I met the person off the net too. And though I know I was young, 21 or so, I know I felt different then anyone before or after. Warm tears once filled my eyes, the only time that happened in my life.
I hope sex is not the thing that drives all men. But i'd like to know with evidence that that is not so.

the last women i went out with on a dating site was so god damn boring absolutely no personality at all completly quiet never smiled but she was really really dirty as hell so i went out with her for a month and just pummeled the crap out of her 24/7 lol

I could not agree with you more!
I'm a kind of new in the online world.. I tried to find friend online for a month and I met someone in the other site ..I think I like him quite a lot. But just for a weeks ,he also ask me about sex and I realised that the online world have no love. Actually it can be "love" if the two person try to know each other,talk together...you know? But almost guy online for sex!!
That's kind of hurt. Anyway,I still wanna talk ,just for online friend. My hope is that there's some place that we can find friends;althought it's online,right?

ive met a few women , not from this site though. ive met someone an felt nothing , and ive met someone and felt totally at ease and emotional with someone. It just depends on how you feel when you meet someone and how they feel about you

I believe u can fall in love on the net,I met someone on the net yrs agop and we finally met after 5 yrs of talking online.but after being together for awhile we broke up but we were still friends.

actually i dont because women come online in order to find her soulmate or someone to fell in love with away from sex ..men have agood start like most women looking for but after while they wanna speak about sex ...making orall sex and im asking why ? why there is no man understand what sweet love with all its meanings is ..i saw titanic and wonder of that great love concern with love itself and hard to find nowadays right?
