hI - I brought up 2 girls on my own - wasn't easy - but time sure did fly coz they are 23 and 24 now - and we are SO close , go shopping together , meet for lunch and chats , phone calls , visits and even Facebook each other - I love it now - even though we STILL have our ups and downs - am glad I enjoyed it and made the most of those hassling , pull your hair out years - coz they do grow up so fast - then its on with their lives! ... but its all good :-)

I have four kids its not always easy. I love them a bunch though and when one or two of them is away from the house, I miss them so much. I find I can't take the quiet, you get use to having them around. I take them everywhere with me and yes to the grocery store, there is always one that will have to cause trouble but its normal. So, take deep breaths and realize that they do grow up and eventually leave home. If your bond is strong with them then it will be when they get older too. Try to enjoy and share in good times with them even though they drive you crazy at times. Don't forget to take breaks for yourself, like a hot bubble bath and say this is my time, or go shopping with a girlfriend. We need time to ourselves as mothers too.

I agree Mandy, there a pain in the back side, but still got to love them. I talk my dog over the field when it's a good for legs. Then i just let her go with the kids.
I may do that later actually!

Hi all,
kids are at school. Why is when you take the kids to their clubs or go out or going to school they leave it to the last minute to get there shoes on or look for stuff. It drives me around the bend. Then us mums get the blame.
Ok i'm having a moan!
